NRA Basic Rifle Instructor Class

Space is limited to 12 students max. Priority is given to SLSC-members.

This class is to teach students to become NRA Rifle Instructors.

Pre-qual - Saturday, 07 October using 2 lanes of Rifle-Range, 0900 - 1200.
Basic Instructor Training (BIT) - Monday and Tuesday, 09 - 10 October from 5 PM - 9:30 PM. BIT must be taken unless it was taken and passed within the previous 2 years.
Rifle Instructor -- Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, 10, 11, & 13 October, from 5 PM - 9:30 PM.

If you already have a current BIT (successfully taken within prior 2 years) then you can skip the Monday 09 October classroom session.

Cost:

$175 for SLSC-members
$250 for non-members
Tuition fee is payable at the class.
Substantial scholarships/subsidies may be made available to students who will teach on a not-for-profit basis and who will volunteer to support the SLSC training program.
