These are essentially scaled-down versions of the NRA High-Power 3-Position Rifle Matches. These are fired at 25 & 50 yards and can be shot with several classes of rifles — open sights, optics, or with AR-type tactical rifles.
22LRs are the most common caliber used in this event. However, .17HMR and .22 Magnums are also welcome.
This event is shot in six (6) discrete stages, with the complete CoF taking less than an hour to complete.
Match is open to the public.

50 yards with a sighting or practice series
Fire ten shots for record slow-fire in the prone position, followed by two five-shot rapid-fire series.
Fire ten shots slow fire and two five-shot rapid-fire series in the sitting or kneeling position.
Targets are then placed at the 25-yard line where shooters conclude with ten shots slow fire and two five-shot rapid-fire series in the standing position.
At Sanners we are running our COFs at 50 yards due to time constraints in setting up the 25 yard line.

Women on Target Shotgun Class -
$100 fee, shotguns and ammo are provided.
Will begin in the Clubhouse for classroom time, then move to the Shotgun Range for the "practical" portion.
We are excited to offer our Women's Basic Shotgun Class again this year. This is a great class and an excellent taste of the shotgun sports. All of the women who have taken this class in the past have thoroughly enjoyed it. Many have taken it because the shotgun was intimidating to them and they no longer had that apprehension after the class. Karla Mooney is our lead instructor again this year and we never fail to learn something new from her. Please register at this link:
