NRA Basics of Personal Protection Inside The Home (PPOTH) class. Students must attend ALL 4 Days to receive graduation certificates.

Classroom at the clubhouse. Wed - Friday 5-9:30PM
Live fire training at dynamic shooting pit #1. Saturday 8:30AM-4PM

Requirements: Students must have already completed the NRA Basic Pistol Class or equivalent. Students must be competent and safe in the use of their centerfire handgun. Students must also have a safe, modern and clean centerfire pistol or revolver in .38 Special / 9mm or larger caliber. Recommend 150+ rounds of factory-new ammunition.

If uncertain as to whether or not you meet the necessary prerequisites, contact the Lead Instructor to confirm before registering.

The 16 hours dedicated to this instruction will include the entire NRA Personal Protection In The Home (PPITH) course and the complete Maryland State Wear & Carry mandated training curriculum, qualification and certificates. For those students who do not yet have their Maryland state Handgun Qualification Licenses (HQLs) this course will also satisfy the training requirements for the HQL.

Class fees are as follows:

$150 for SLSC-members.

$250 for General Public.

Registrants must pay $50 non-refundable deposit to confirm their registrations within a week of on-line registration. Mail deposits to SLSC (PPITH - Aug,2018), P.O. Box 1300, Lexington Park, MD 20653. Make checks or money-orders payable to "SLSC-Training".

Balance of fees may be paid on the first day of class via cash, personal checks, or money-orders.
