October 2016 Match Report
SLSC IR 50/50 Rimfire Bench Rest Match
October 2nd, 2016
Weather: Crisp, Cool, Classic October
A bit of a light turnout this month after last month’s big showing, probably due to the rain and wind earlier in the week, but the weather ended up being comfortably cloudy and cool and enough shooters showed up to have a fun match.
Jen D, Karla M, and Jason M jumped back and forth between the light and heavy weight class and found that shooting Sporter is definitely challenging compared to the bigger gun with its heavier barrel and unlimited optics! They did well, though, especially for their first match, with Jen posting a high score of 220-2X in the 13.5lb class and Karla posting a 137-1X in the Sporter class. In the 10.5lb class Mark S took the win with a high score of 243-7X and a combined total of 713-19X.
Detailed results are listed in the October Match Report.
The next IR5050 match is scheduled for November 6th and will be the final match of the season, so this is your last chance to see how well your precision plinker stacks up against the competition in 2016!
