SANNER'S LAKE SPORTSMEN'S CLUB
Trail Life Troop MD 512 is a father son group that will camp overnight on club grounds.
The camping event will start Friday afternoon near the clubhouse and end Sunday 9 AM. The clubhouse will not be needed for first steps rifle training for the boys as that will be done in advance. I will be able to perform the training at the Trail Life clubhouse/ church prior to the campout/rifle shooting event. Saturday there will be a safety brief prior to the shoot. Brief will be done by An NRA CRSO/ Club RSO with prior approval by the board. Five Club RSO’s and 1 NRA CRSO will be needed for line coaches. All club rules and regulations will be adhered to.
Rifle Range shoot will be done at 50 yards with .22 LR Caliber rifles, Targets will be 9” paper plates. Paper plates will be numbered with the lane number the shooter is shooting on, this should minimize the chance of crossfire. All shooting will be done from the bench rest positions. Four rifle lanes will be needed for this event and four .22 LR caliber rifles. Eye and ear protection will be purchase by Trail life prior to the event. Snap on will provide the wraparound safety glasses $2.69 per pair and marshmallow ear protection.
Contact Mark Phippen 240-434-2375.
Only 4 Lanes will be used in the Rifle Range on Sat morning. The remainder of the Rifle Range will be open for use by members.
